What’s Happening in Kuruköy? We demand urgent information from reliable sources.

For the last nine days, there has been no communication with the people in Kuruköy (Xereba Bava), a village in Turkey’s southeastern district of Nusaybin (Mardin province), that is under round-the-clock military curfew and has been cut off from electrical and telephone services in the region.

IHD: 47 detenuti malati sono morti in Turchia nel 2016

La Commissione carceri della sezione di Istanbul di IHD ha affermato che 47 detenuti malati hanno perso la loro vita nelle carceri turche nel 2016. La Commissione carceri della sezione di Istanbul dell’Associazione dei Diritti Umani hanno svolto una manifestazione nella piazza Galatasaray di Istanbul per richiamare l’attenzione sulla situazione dei detenuti malati in Turchia.

The “Democracy and Resolution” announcement made at Newroz in Diyarbakır on 21 March 2013 signified the publizingof an ongoing process of dialoguethat had begun in 2012 with the aim of finding a lasting peace. The text of an accord, that was to pave the way for a more transparent negotiation, was shared with public opinion in the presence of government officials and the Imrali Delegation on 28 February 2015.

Recenti progressi del progetto della diga di Ilisu in Turchia+Kurdistan

La costruzione della diga di Ilisu e il HEPP (Progetto Idroelettrico) continuano con un numero attualmente indeterminato di lavoratori, probabilmente un centinaio. Le décès d’Omer Guney était-il programmé?

Le procès du triple assassinat devait poursuivre jusqu’au 24 février. L’assassin présumé devait être jugé devant la cour d’assises spéciales de Paris. Il était accusé d’avoir tué Sakine Cansiz, cofondatrice du PKK et Fidan Dogan, représentante du Congrès national du Kurdistan, basé à Bruxelles, ainsi que la jeune Leyla Saylemez, membre du mouvement de la jeunesse kurde. Chacune avait reçu le 9 janvier 2013 trois balles dans la tête au centre d’information du Kurdistan, situé au 147 rue La Fayette. Omer Guney avait été arrêté au cours du même mois et envoyé à la prison de Fresnes.

Amnesty International pubblica il suo rapporto ‘Sur’

Amnesty International (AI) ha pubblicato il suo rapporto su Sur, dove continuano coprifuoco e attacchi genocidi. Nel suo rapporto AI afferma che almeno 40mila persone sono state costrette a migrare ed elenca richieste dei civili sfollati.

Tortura, una pratica corrente

Aumenta di nuovo la tortura nelle carceri turche. La CISST, un’organizzazione turca per esponenti della società civile in carcere ha riferito che per la prima volta nella storia della repubblica turca il numero di detenuti ha superato i 210.000. Le carceri sono stracolme e le denunce per torture aumentano. Solo dal carcere di tipo T a Riha (turco Urfa) l’associazione per i diritti umani IHD ha ricevuto numerose segnalazioni di torture.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
