Human Rights Association (IHD) released the Report on Human Rights Violations in Turkey for 2014 in the Turkish capital Ankara. The report says 335 women lost their lives as a result of suicide, violence and rape in 2014 during which also 68 children were deprived of their right to life, 1,237 people were arrested, 3,401 others were subjected to torture and ill treatment.

IHD: Children in prison continue suffering ill treatment, abuse and rape

The Human Rights Association (IHD) in Turkey has issued a statement highlighting the ill treatment, sexual abuse and rape of children in prisons in Van, Şakran, Pozantı and Sincan and called for children’s rights to be protected.

AI: Death row juvenile offender at risk of secret execution

Iranian officials’ refusal to provide the family of Saman Naseem, a death row juvenile offender who was due to be executed yesterday morning, with information about his fate and whereabouts has sparked fears that he is at risk of being tortured or secretly executed, said Amnesty International.

The head of the Human Rights Association of Turkey (IHD) Öztürk Türkdoğan, said the Turkish government should take steps appropriate to the joint declaration made with the HDP. The 10 articles are headings and principles. Negotiations are needed to elaborate these. Mr Öcalan should be able to speak to his organisation.

La politique antikurde du gouvernement AKP face à la crise syrienne et sa complicité avec les ennemis de l’humanité (Daesh) a allumé la mèche d’une révolte. Au moins 31 personnes ont été tuéesdepuis trois jours, par la faute de la politique du régime d’Ankara, tandis qu’à Kobané, la résistance kurde restait forte face aux attaques barbares depuis 24 jours.

“D’abord, ils nous ont imposé de devenir musulman. Nous avons refusé. Puis, ils ont donné un ultimatum, avant de rassembler tous les villageois dans l’école du village. Ils ont pris leur argent, portables, les bijoux sur les femmes… Les hommes ont été tous embarqués groupe par groupe dans des véhicules, avant d’être amenés hors du village et massacrés. On ignore le sort des femmes et des enfants.”

Des milliers de Kurdes yézidis massacrés

Le bilan de Sinjar est terrible, après l’invasion des jihadistes de l’Etat islamique (EI), selon les premières informations. Au moins 3.000 kurdes yézidis seraient massacrés, 5.000 autres seraient enlevés, 300 enfants et personnes âgées seraient morts de faim et de soif dans les montagnes de Sinjar, où des dizaines des milliers de personnes sont bloqués.

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
