Turkey starts fire and water war against Syrians

Turkey has reduced the rate of water flowing in the Euphrates River to Syria by 60% early this month, for the second time in 4 years. The river offered the lifeline for millions of Syrians in the Euphrates region in northern Syria, and other areas such as Al-Raqqa and Deir ez zor, as well as supplying the second largest city in the country, Aleppo, with drinking water.

Body of a civilian kidnapped Turkish occupation’s mercenaries found in Afrin

The people of Janders district found the body of Muslim Ahmed, who was kidnapped by mercenaries of the Turkish occupation about a week ago from his home, amid the continuing series of torture and kidnapping of civilians in Afrin.

WHO is again excluding NE, Syria from medical aid

The World Health Organization (WHO) note seen by members of the UN Security Council said that aid organizations working with the United Nations want the Security Council to allow urgent use of al-Ya’rubiyah (Tel Koçer) crossing between the Iraqi and Syrian borders to deliver supplies to help in combating the coronavirus.

HRW: Medical supplies must be allowed to enter N, E Syria immediately

Human Rights Watch called on the Security Council to repeal Resolution 2,504 of January 10 this year, and affirmed that restrictions imposed by the Iraqi and Syrian authorities are impeding the arrival of the required medical aid and personnel to the areas of northern and eastern Syria as part of efforts to combat Corona pandemic.

HRW Org welcomes with SDC initiative to find kidnapped

​​​​​​​Human Rights Watch welcomed the initiative of the Syrian Democratic Council SDC to form a specialized committee to find detainees and kidnapped in north and east Syria, and considered it a “positive step,” and the letter also included steps to ensure the effectiveness of the team’s work.

KRC: Turkish Government cut water supplies A violation of IHL who can be fatal of thousands of people.

On Saturday, Turkish Government cut the flow from a reservoir that supplies water to areas in northeastern Syria’s Hasakah province that the Kurdish-led local authorities control. The Alouk Water Station is located near the border town of Serekaniye, which Turkey and its militant proxies took control of in October 2019 during Turkey’s so called “Peace Spring Operation”.

Afrin -Shahba People: Open Letter to the World Health Organization

Displaced Afrin people in Shehba with 6 organization signed an open letter about Covid-19 to the World Health Organization . We public the letter signed by The Democratic Self-Management in Shehba, The Camps Management in Shehba, Afrin’s Hospital’s Management, Health Administration in Shehba, Human Rights in Shehba and Kurdish Red Crescent:

“The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO), issued a report regarding the emergence of corona virus (COVID-19) in the Syrian Republic on / 11th of March 2020 /, the report stated that the Syrian Ministry of Health confirmed the negative of all cases that were suspected and no one was infected.
