KRC: Turkish Government cut water supplies A violation of IHL who can be fatal of thousands of people.

On Saturday, Turkish Government cut the flow from a reservoir that supplies water to areas in northeastern Syria’s Hasakah province that the Kurdish-led local authorities control. The Alouk Water Station is located near the border town of Serekaniye, which Turkey and its militant proxies took control of in October 2019 during Turkey’s so called “Peace Spring Operation”.

Families launch petition demanding release of prisoners

Regional bar associations: No crime discrimination in execution

House arrest and ban on leaving the country for HDP mayors

With the last appointment of trustees, 40 of the 65 municipalities won by HDP were replaced with trustees, 3 of which was metropolitan municipalities while the mayors of 2 province, 32 districts and 4 towns were also replaced by trustees.

HDP: Instead of fighting coronavirus AKP fights Kurds

Co-spokespersons of HDP’s Foreign Affairs Commission said; “While the whole world is busy with finding ways to fight the virus, the Turkish government is using the pandemic climate as an opportunity to use the vilest forms of repression against Kurds.”

Feleknas Uca and Hişyar Özsoy, co-spokespersons of HDP’s Foreign Affairs Commission, issued a written statement about the eight HDP-run municipalities seized amidst the fight against the coronavirus.

Bingöl Bar Association: Deciding on government orders is a constitutional crime

Bingöl Bar Association President Hanifi Budancamanak, who stated that some illegal actions were carried out in the judiciary said: “It is a constitutional crime to make a decision or to establish an unfair action in line with the demand and instructions of the government.”

Report confirms prisoners not given masks, gloves, disinfectant

The Association of Lawyers for Freedom (ÖHD) and MED Federation of Solidarity Associations with Families of Prisoners (MED-TUHAD FED) visited 12 prisons in the cities of Nortth Kurdistan amid the rapid spread of the coronavirus in Turkey and compiled a report to expose the situation and denounced that prisoners are not given masks and disinfectants.

Human Rights Watch: Turkey must protect all prisoners from Corona epidemic

Human Rights Watch warned against the Turkish government’s selectivity in dealing with the possible release of some prisoners, said that there should be no discrimination on the basis of political opinion, and demanded that the amnesty include all prisoners who did not commit violence.
