Spanish government “concerned” for use of death penalty in Iraq

RSF: 387 journalists detained in the worldwide

Reporters Without Borders confirmed an increase in the deprivation of female journalists of their freedom by 35% compared to last year, while the number of journalists arrested in the world reached 387 at the end of 2020. The organization said in a report that showed the annual outcome for 2020, today, that the number of “deprived of their freedom” is currently 42 women, compared to 31 in 2019, an increase of 35%.

Dinc: After “CPT” report isolation tightened more

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
