Zozan Yasar è una giornalista curda della Turchia. Privata di accesso all’istruzione. Zozan ha imparato a leggere e a scrivere ed è andata all’università, ottenendo un diploma prima di iniziare la sua carriera giornalistica. In quanto curda , ha lottato affinché potesse registrare il suo nome curdo presso il governo turco.

Prigionieri torturati minacciano digiuno fino alla morte

Süleyman Saçal, uno dei prigionieri che vengono torturati nel carcere di Osmaniye, dichiara che se la tortura prosegue, inizieranno un digiuno fino alla morte.Il 9 agosto, 57 prigionieri nel carcere n. 2 di tipo T di Osmaniye avevano rifiutato l’appello militare e successivamente erano stati violentemente pestati dai guardiani sotto la supervisione del direttore del carcere.

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
