Journalist Akman: We were beaten and kicked around the floor
Kurdish journalist Nuri Akman, who successfully defended himself against deportation to Turkey together with three political activists in Bucharest airport on Wednesday, has made serious allegations against the Romanian authorities. After successfully resisting deportation to Turkey in Bucharest, he was eventually released.

UN urge Iraq to halt mass executions
UN human rights experts, Nils Melzer (Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment), Fionnuala Ní Aoláin (Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of human rights while countering terrorism) and Agnes Callamard (Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions) expressed alarm at reports that some 50 prisoners convicted of terrorism-related crimes in Iraq face execution on Monday, and urged the Government to immediately halt all mass executions saying they had serious concerns about the conduct of the trials and the extraction of confessions under torture.
Three year -old child injured in bombardment on Ain Issa- Syria
Mahmoud Zaid al-Zaidan, a three year -old child, is being injured in the bombardment by Turkish Occupation Army and the affiliated mercenaries on the Ain Issa district, to increase number of injuries to three.

Ugur Kaymaz: Douze ans, tué de treize balles
Le 21 novembre 2004, le jeune Ugur Kaymaz et son père étaient tués de plusieurs balles, devant leur maison de Kiziltepe. Une Kalachnikov a été “retrouvée” à côté des corps ; les autorités turques ont prétendu qu’Uğur et son père avaient été tués par les forces de sécurité pour empêcher une attaque terroriste.
51 political and religious prisoners transferred to the new High-Security Ward of the prison in Iran
On November 19, the Special Guards of Orumiyeh Central Prison entered the political prisoner’s ward and, after inspecting and confiscating a large number of the prisoners’ personal belongings, transferred all 51 political and religious prisoners to a new security ward called Dormitory 10 (Hedayat).
SOHR : Turkish military deployment to Syria
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) has reported the entry of a military column of Turkish forces via Kafr Losin crossing, north of Idlib. Turkey’s military build-up: 7,440 vehicles arrive in Syria since the new ceasefire, as over 20 new vehicles enter Idlib countryside carrying logistical equipment.
World Children’s Day: Uğur Kaymaz was 12 when he was murdered by soldiers
Uğur Kaymaz was murdered along with his father in the Kızıltepe district of Mardin (Merdin) in Turkey on 21 November 2004. Kaymaz was shot dead by soldiers. He was only 12 years old when he died. Thirteen bullets were found in his dead body. His mother, Makbule Kaymaz, was interviewed on the 16th year anniversary of her son’s murder. “Nothing has changed in Turkey since the murder of Uğur and the state still continues killing children”, she said.
