La journaliste Aysegul Doğan condamnée à 6 ans de prison

Ayşegül Doğan, journaliste condamnée à 6 ans de prison par la justice turque.
La journaliste Ayşegül Doğan a été condamnée à 6 ans de prison. Anciennement présentatrice d’une émission sur la chaîne d’information İMC TV, fermée en octobre 2016 par décret gouvernemental, Mme Dogan avait été mise en examen du fait de ses activités journalistiques ainsi que de sa participation au Congrès pour une Société démocratique (DTK).

Le procès de la journaliste s’est tenu lundi devant la 9e chambre de la Cour d’assise de Diyarbakır, en l’absence de l’intéressée qui était représentée par ses avocats Mehmet Emin Aktar et Emel Ataktürk.

Le tribunal a condamné Mme Doğan à 6 ans et 3 mois de prison pour « appartenance à une organisation illégale ».

Dans l’attente de la confirmation du jugement, le tribunal a par ailleurs décidé de maintenir les mesures de contrôle judiciaire ainsi que d’interdiction de quitter le territoire prises contre Ayşegül Doğan.
