Sabiha Aslan, sister of Veysi Aktaş, one of the names kept under isolation in İmralı Prison, appealed to the Minister of Justice, who declared that the isolation was lifted, “Are you at least a little bit embarrased?”
While the hunger strike started in prisons against the isolation in İmralı is on day 21, DTK Co-chair Leyla Güven who initiated the hunger strike action with the same demand 2 years ago said: “Termination of the isolation is the demand of millions.”

The Syrian People’s Council condemned the ongoing crime committed by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries by cutting off water to more than a million citizens in al-Hasakah, and called on the United Nations, Arab, regional and international parliamentary unions and associations to pressure the occupation to stop its crime.
