La chambre des représentants des États-Unis a adopté des sanctions contre la Turquie, du fait de l’achat par Ankara du système russe S-400.

Le projet de loi d’autorisation de la Défense nationale (NDAA), d’un montant de 740 milliards de dollars, qui comprend la mise en œuvre de sanctions contre la Turquie en raison de l’achat par Ankara du système de défense aérienne russe S-400, a été adopté, mercredi 9 décembre, à une écrasante majorité à la Chambre des représentants américaine.

Broadcast ban on Jin News’ reporting of a rape case in Batman, Turkey

The investigation by Jin News Agency of a rape case in the Gercüş (Kercews) district of Batman (Elih) in Turkey has revealed that 27 men – including a specialized sergeant, a police officer and village guards – were reportedly involved in the rape of a fifteen-year-old child and forced two women into prostitution.

Lawyer Köklü: strikers’ demands are legal and legitimate

Prisoners in Turkey started a five-day alternating hunger strike on 27 November to protest the isolation of PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and mistreatments in Turkish prisons. The strike, which started with the participation of many prisoners across several different prisons, was taken over by a third group on 7 December.

La journaliste Ayşegül Doğan a été condamnée à 6 ans de prison. Anciennement présentatrice d’une émission sur la chaîne d’information İMC TV, fermée en octobre 2016 par décret gouvernemental, Mme Dogan avait été mise en examen du fait de ses activités journalistiques ainsi que de sa participation au Congrès pour une Société démocratique (DTK).

Journalist Doğan sentenced to 6 years in prison

A criminal complaint was filed against journalist Ayşegül Doğan, a program coordinator of İMC TV, which was closed down by a governmental decree (KHK), on the grounds of her journalistic activities and her alleged activity within the Democratic Society Congress (DTK).

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
