HDP report says 20 million people live under poverty line

The Economy Commission of the HDP has presented the “Poverty Report”. The report was presented in a press conference at the Parliament, joined by HDP Diyarbakır MP and HDP deputy co-chair responsible for the commission Garo Paylan and HDP MPs Erol Katırcıoğlu, Necdet İpekyüz and Serpil Kemalbay.

20,000 HDP members taken into custody in 4 years, 10,000 jailed

HDP co-deputy head for local governments Salim Kaplan said that “since 2016, 20,000 of our members have been taken into custody and more than 10,000 of our members and executives have been sent to jail.”

Reverse law in Roboski: 34 died, 34 people from the victim families sued

Çelebi:This decision of Guven is a legal scandal

Speaking to Mezopotamya Agency (MA), lawyer Serdar Çelebi said that the decision regarding his client, Leyla Güven, who was sentenced to 22 years and 3 months in prison and detained on the accusation of “being a member of a terrorist organization” and “propagandizing a terrorist organization” due to her duties as the co-chair of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK), was scandalous.

Ibrahim: Turkish state targets Kurdish women

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
