IHD: Release Gürbüz Solmaz Now!

On 29 September 2019, numerous individuals have been arrested by the police following raids into their residences in Dersim early on a Sunday morning. These persons include former and current executives of Peoples’ Democratic Party’s (Halkların Demokratik Partisi –HDP) Dersim provincial organization.

IHD: Release ill prisoner Fesih Coşkun

The 392nd sit-in organised by the Prison Commission of the Istanbul Branch of the Human Rights Association (IHD), was held despite the heavy police presence which prevented the action to be held in Galatasaray square. The sit-in is demanding the release of sick prisoners every week.

Prisoners in Bolu denounced ill treatment and torture

Rights violations against political prisoners in Bolu F-Type Prison have been exposed. The prisoners, writing about their experiences, said that Nurullah Semo had been kept in a room alone for 2 years and that he was exposed to insults and threats every morning during the counting.

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
