Emergency Architects: Report On The Building Damage Assessment Diyarbakir, Silvan&Cizre in the Wake of the Curfews

The Emergency Architects Foundation (EAF),upon the request of the Union of Municipalities of Southeast Anatolia (Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi  ‐ GABB), participated in an assessment mission to evaluate the damage caused to buildings during the curfew period established by government authorities in September and October 2015 in several cities of the region.

IHD (Human Rights Association) released a report on the civilian killings and right violations committed in the Kurdish region during the period between July 24 and October 8 and has announced that 113 people have been killed in the Kurdish region in the last 78 days.

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
