IHD: Violation of Refugees’ Human Rights Is Unjustifiable

Collective Statement on the situation of refugees in Greece The signatories acknowledge the recent decision of the Greek Government to increase the level of deterrence at the borders to the maximum, to stop the registration of asylum applications for one month and to turn back to their country of origin or their country of transit anyone trying to enter into Greece illegally, following the Turkish authorities’ declaration to open its borders and to allow refugees to enter Greece.

DFG: Repression against journalists continued in February

ECtHR Lawyer: Demirtaş and Kavala decision must be implemented

İHD Report on the “New Human Rights Action Plan”

Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Justice has been working on “A New Human Rights Action Plan” since 2018. The action plan was announced to the public by the Turkish Presidency within the scope of its second 100-day action plan. It was indicated that a new initiative was underway based on the “Action Plan for the Prevention of Violations of the European Convention on Human Rights” which was actually published in the Official Gazette of 1 March 2014. İHD should, however, underline that the action plan of 2014 was not enforced.

Temizyüz: A strong opposition can defend the rights of prisoners

Amnesty International Report :Turkish occupation, its mercenaries crimes in Serekaniye, Gire Spi and Afrin

Amnesty International issued its annual report in which it highlighted the violations committed by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, during the military attack on northeastern Syria and their occupation of each of the cities of Afrin, Serekaniye / Ras al-Ain and Gire Spi / Tel Abyad.

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
