The dam that swallows villages advances to Hasankeyf

While it is stated that Ilısu Dam pond has reached 40 kilometers, at least 20 villages have been flooded at the Tigris and Botan valleys. Historic Hasankeyf is expected to be flooded by December.

Dr. Koç: Health service in mother tongue is determinant in diagnosis and treatment

Prof. Dr. Şemsettin Koç who stated that patients using their mother tongue explaining their complaints is crucial for the diagnosis and treatment of the diseases said many people who did not speak Turkish, did not go to the hospitals for this reason for a very long time in Turkey and their rights to health were violated.

It is learned from the news coverage of November 14, 2019 that 1 HPG militant died in a clash between security forces and HPG militants in İskenderun district of Hatay on October 26, 2019; 3 HPG militants died in an air operation of Turkish Armed Forces to rural areas of Doğubayazıt district of Ağrı on November 7, 2019; and 2 HPG militants died in an air operation to rural areas of Silopi district of Şırnak on November 9, 2019.

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
