Health issues of 14-month-old Baby Arin, staying with mother Esma Yilmaz in prison, are increasing. Father Mihdi Yilmaz said, “If there isn’t enough humanity left to protect a child, I have nothing to say.”

Head of Human Rights Association Amed Branch, lawyer Zeytun said they will do everything in their power to stop illegal abductions. Lawyer Abdullah Zeytun, said: “People should express their situation through institutions like ours and claim their rights on legal grounds. According to the European Convention on Human Rights, these illegal detentions are torture”.

Turkish authorities in Istanbul and nine provinces on or near the Syrian border have stopped registering all but a handful of recently arrived Syrian asylum seekers. The suspension is leading to unlawful deportations, coerced returns to Syria, and the denial of health care and education, reported Human Rights Watch on Monday.

Turkish security forces have routinely intercepted hundreds, and at times thousands, of asylum seekers at the Turkey-Syria border since at least December 2017 and summarily deported them to the war-ravaged Idlib governorate in Syria, Human Rights Watch said today.

The session of the Permanent Peoples Tribunal on alleged violations of international law and international humanitarian law by the Turkish Republic and its officials in their relations with the Kurdish people and their organisations has kicked off in Paris, France.
While disciplinary punishments are extended in the prison of Elazığ, Northern Kurdistan, messages about maltreatment come from the prison of Tarsus. In Adana, a prisoner died because he was denied his medication.
