The Human Rights Association (IHD) and the Turkey Human Rights Foundation (TIHV) have released a statement condemning the police attack on the Saturday Mothers.

Head of Human Rights Association Amed Branch, lawyer Zeytun said they will do everything in their power to stop illegal abductions. Lawyer Abdullah Zeytun, said: “People should express their situation through institutions like ours and claim their rights on legal grounds. According to the European Convention on Human Rights, these illegal detentions are torture”.
