IHD : 7,907 rights violations in Kurdish region in 3 months

Human Rights Association (IHD) Diyarbakir Branch released its report of human rights violations committed in the Kurdish region of Turkey over the past three months. IHD Diyarbakir Branch reported 7,907 rights violations in the Kurdish region in three months during which 90 people, including three children, died in conflict environment.

UN report on the destruction and rights violations in Turkey

The UN Human Rights Office on Friday published a report detailing allegations of massive destruction, killings and numerous other serious human rights violations committed between July 2015 and December 2016 in southeast Turkey.

CoE Secretary General warns Turkey on journalists and right violations

Keskin: World Health Organization should investigate the Turkish prisons

IHD Co-chair Eren Keskin pointed out the increasingly severe condition of the sick arrestees in prisons and that they had no more opportunities for treatment under the State of Emergency, and called on the World Health Organisation to investigate.

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
