Child Protection Office reaffirms commitment to international agreements

Le massacre de Cizre: une blessure toujours ouverte

Au moins 288 personnes ont perdu la vie pendant le couvre-feu de 79 jours imposé par le gouvernement turc sur la ville kurde de Cizre, du 14 décembre 2015 au 2 mars 2016. Beaucoup ont été tuées par les forces de sécurité, tandis que d’autres, blessées ou malades, ont perdu la vie faute de secours, toute entrée et sortie de la ville étant interdite durant le couvre-feu.

SOHR: Turkish border guards killed 460 Syrian civilians

Un journaliste de l’agence de presse Roj News a été arrêté hier, à Çoman, au Sud-Kurdistan (Irak). Il avait dénoncé sur les réseaux sociaux l’arrestation de jeunes militants, dans le cadre des manifestations antigouvernementales qui font rage depuis une dizaine de jours dans la région autonome.

the Kurdistan human rights Association says; The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that all human beings have the right to be free and live-in freedom, regardless of race and colour; there must be sexual freedom, freedom to express their thought, religion. The same proclamation banned slavery and torture.

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
