Kurdish Border Porter Tortured by Iranian Border Guards at Nawsoud
On Tuesday, August 11, the Iranian border guards in Nawsoud, Kermanshah province, tortured a middle-aged Kurdish Border Porter –known as Kolbar- Reza Abdollahi during his temporary detention, a local source told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

The Kolbar has suffered serious head injuries from a gunshot wound to the head. He is from the village of “Tavgozi” in the city of Salas Babajani in Kermanshah province. He had turned in Kolbari to poverty and unemployment.

Earlier on Thursday, August 7, Irnian border guards in Nawsoud, Kermanshah province, had also beaten a child Mobin Hosseini with a rifle butt in the mountainous areas of the city. The 16-year-old Kolbar also suffered head and face injuries.
