Afrin IDP’s: occupation’s shells follow us wherever we go

Posted on February 19, 2020February 21, 2020 By admin

The displaced people of Afrin and the residents of Sherawa district denounced the violations of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on the villages of Sherawa district, and demanded the international organizations to intervene immediately to stop the violations of the Turkish occupation state against the unarmed civilians.

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries bombarded the villages of Sherawa district and al-Shahba canton with dozens of artillery and mortar shells after announcing the progress of the Syrian regime on several fronts in the northwestern countryside of Aleppo.

The Turkish occupation army’s bombardment reached the villages of Aqibeh, Soghankeh, Bashamreh, Gunde Mazen, Deir Jamal, Tel Rifat, Kafar Naya and al-Ziyara.

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries’ bombardment resulted in inflicting financial damage to the civilians’ properties. Hawar news agency considered the opinions of Sherwa district people who called on the international and human rights organizations to intervene.

Where a citizen Dahham from Aqibeh village denounced the daily violations of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on Sherawa district villages.

He added: “The lives of thousands of Afrin displaced persons and Sherawa people are at risk due to the daily shelling of the civilians’ homes, as it inflicts financial damage to their properties. At the beginning of the current month, the citizen Ali Mulla was martyred in the second bombing that targeted his house in Aqibeh village, but the bombing last night targeted the villages of Sherawa district and al-Shahba canton with dozens of artillery and missile shells.”

In turn, the displaced Arin Othman emphasized that every evening in the late hours, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries start bombing Sherawa district villages because they are crowded with civilians, and this indiscriminate bombardment aims to empty the villages and displace their people.”

Arin also expressed their resistance in the villages of Sherawa district and al-Shahba canton, as it continues until the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries are expelled from Afrin, and all the displaced are returned to their homes.”

As for the citizen Othman Othman, he stated that the Turkish occupation displaced them from their homes two years ago, and the Turkish occupation’s shells are still chasing them wherever they go.

Othman called on the international and human rights organizations to stop the violations of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on the villages of Sherawa district.

He concluded his speech by saying: “The shells of the Turkish occupation and mercenary gangs will not undermine our will because it is strong, and whatever the occupation does to us, we will not retreat from our resistance in Sherawa district.”
