İFÖD: Number of Websites Blocked from Turkey Has Exponentially Risen Since 2015

According to the report released by the Freedom of Expression Association (İFÖD), “While access to 80,553 websites was blocked from Turkey as of the beginning of 2015, this figure is 288,310 in total as of October 2019.”

ÖGİ: A journalist detained, three others referred to court

Journalist Serdal Işık, correspondent of the government critical ETHA news agency, has been detained in Istanbul. This morning Işık was stopped by the police at a tram stop. After an ID criminal check, he was taken into custody.

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
