Murders and violence against women originating from the policies of the AKP government in Northern Kurdistan and Turkey continue. Hundreds of women are murdered by men every year. According to the Platform to Stop Murders of Women, at least 474 women were killed in 2019 alone. In 2018 the women murdered had been 440 women and in 2016, 304.
Former Editor in Chief lawyer of European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) Ümit Kılınç, stated that not implementing the decision on Selahattin Demirtaş and Osman Kava is a violation of the Article 18 of European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).

Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Justice has been working on “A New Human Rights Action Plan” since 2018. The action plan was announced to the public by the Turkish Presidency within the scope of its second 100-day action plan. It was indicated that a new initiative was underway based on the “Action Plan for the Prevention of Violations of the European Convention on Human Rights” which was actually published in the Official Gazette of 1 March 2014. İHD should, however, underline that the action plan of 2014 was not enforced.

The displaced from Idlib described the situation in the northern Syrian governorate as tragic, and they confirmed that they lost confidence in Turkey and the mercenary gangs, thanking the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria that received them in its regions.

Kurdish language has taken great steps since 2012, following strenuous efforts. The foundations of protecting and teaching the Kurdish language were established. Efforts have evolved to establish research centers and studies for its development and finding language references in Kurdistan four parts and Europe.

TUHAD-FED co-chair Mehmet Temizyüz said that the government thinks to have closed all the doors and left out social problems. Instead, he added, a strong opposition could open all doors.

The displaced people of Afrin and the residents of Sherawa district denounced the violations of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on the villages of Sherawa district, and demanded the international organizations to intervene immediately to stop the violations of the Turkish occupation state against the unarmed civilians.
