Torture and impunity are increasing in Van

Several detained in major operation against the HDP

In Turkey, arrest warrant has been issued for 82 people in 7 cities in connection with the Kobanê protests in October 2014. The mayor of Kars, Ayhan Bilgen and former MP Sirri Süreyya Önder have also been detained.

KHRN Exclusive Report on Killing of Three Kolbars by Iranian Border Guards

Zanko Ahmadi, Zanest Hassannejad, and Soroush Makari were three Kurdish Kolbars killed by the Iranian border guards in the Bajar area of Sardasht, On Monday morning, September 14,2020. Two days later, in an interview with the Iranian state media, the West Azarbaijan border commander described the killed Kolbars as a “border trespasser and supported the killing of these individuals by forces under his command.

UN calls on Turkey to respect international law in Syria

Omar: report of UN Commission of Inquiry is insufficient without binding decisions

Abdul Karim Omar stressed that the report of the UN Commission of Inquiry documenting the violations within the Turkish occupation zones and its mercenaries is important, but it is not sufficient and needs decisions from the Security Council or the United Nations Association to prosecute the perpetrators and their supporters.

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
