KRC Report of the health situation after Turkish and Islamic groups militarty invasion in Northeast Syria

The last report of the Kurdish Red Crescent on the health situation abouth the first day of Turkish and Islamic groups militarty invasion in Northeast Syria

On October 9, 2019 the Turkish army with islamic alies started an offensive targeting mainly the area betweeen Serekaniye and Tilebyed. SDF in turn started to defend the area, after few hours a massive displacement of pupuation started toward south areas such as Hasake city and Tiltemir city. It was reported that 2 airplains were used so far targeting the following areas Airstrikes: Sere kaniye (Ras Al Ain) x7, Ein Issa x2, Tell Abiad x1

Petition for Kurdish singer and her daughter jailed in Turkey

Kurdish singer Hozan Cane has been imprisoned in Turkey for more than a year. Her daughter Gönül Dilan Örs was also jailed. A petition asks the federal government to act more decisively for the release of the two women from Cologne.

Iranian regime forces killed yet another kolbar

According to the information received, a Kolbar named Ezizi Reisi was killed by the regime forces in the city of Shino within the Urmia province. It was learned that Reisi was from the village of Girdik in Mèrgewer, Urmia.

People of Qamishlo march to the UN Representation

Thousands of people gathered in front of the 12 March Stadium in Qamishlo city and staged a march to the United Nations (UN) Representation demanding the inclusion of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in the works of the Syrian Constitutional Committee.

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
