A foreign delegation, including European Parliament deputies, is in Amed to express their support to DTK co-chair Leyla Güven. Sinn Fein and Labour party MEPs Martina Anderson and Julia Ward are part of the delegation which includes also human rights defender Wendy Lyon of Ireland, UK human rights lawyer Margaret Owen and Italian lawyer Simonetta Crisci and Rosella Santi.

Nei prossimi mesi, Hasankeyf, le sue pareti calcaree, le migliaia di grotte artificiali, i 300 monumenti medievali e l’ecosistema di canyon saranno inghiottiti dalle acque del Tigri. Nei prossimi mesi, Hasankeyf, piccola città nel sud-est della Turchia, sarà sommersa dall’acqua. Hasankeyf e le sue pareti calcaree ospitano migliaia di grotte artificiali, 300 monumenti medievali ed un unico ecosistema di canyon.

Platform to monitor prisons formed in Amed

Amed Bar Association Prisons Commission, Human Rights Association (IHD) Amed Chapter Prisons Commission, Libertarian Lawyers Association (OHD), Diyarbakir Chamber of Medicine Human Rights Commission and Human Rights Foundation Turkey (TIHV) Representation Office have formed a platform to monitor the situation of prisoners on hunger strikes and the practices seen in prisons.

Il massacro silenzioso: 1.923 morti sul lavoro in Turchia nel 2018

Il Consiglio per la salute e la sicurezza sul lavoro (ISIG) ha pubblicato la sua relazione del 2018 sulle morti nel posto di lavoro. Il rapporto afferma che nel 2018, un totale di 1.923 lavoratori hanno perso la vita a causa d’incicdenti sul posto di lavoro. Di questi 119 erano donne e 1.804 uomini su 81 province.

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
