Prisoners in Tarsus: “We have been tortured with electricity”

One of the prisoners in Tarsus Hadi Elçiçek spoke with his son on the phone and told him about the torture they had been subjected to since December 7 and said, “We have also been subjected to torture with electricity.”

Kurdish political prisoner tortured heavily in Rojhilat

Kurdish political prisoner Efşin Hisên Penahi, who had been detained and arrested in Rojhilat, has been subjected to torture by Iranian forces. Efşin’s health had suffered after the intense torture, but reportedly hasn’t been taken to a hospital.

Family: We want the body, we will take the execution to court

Footage had surfaced of HPG guerrilla Cuma Imen being captured alive in the Beytüşşebap district countryside in Şırnak and Imen was later executed by soldiers. Cuma Imen’s family demand their child’s body and say they will take the execution to court.

Gülmen: “Recent torture method: is-she-dead checks”

Another letter arrived from Nuriye Gülmen, who is now on the 142nd day of her hunger strike. Gülmen’s lawyers posted the letter on social media, and it says: “As hunger continues, you don’t get more hungry than the day before, but your mind, emotions, thoughts and your whole being just gets hungrier and hungrier.

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
