IHD 2018 Report on human Rights Violations in Turkey

Authoritarian Regime and the Order of Permanent State of Emergency 2018 has been a year during which elections to build an authoritarian regime based on a single-man rule were held and the permanent state of emergency was established in Turkey.

The “Turkish-type Presidency” elections of 24 June 2018 was held and all the substantial amendments introduced into the Constitution, which was declared to be amended by the referendum of 16 April 2017, entered into force with the elections. Therefore, the year 2018 has been a year during which an authoritarian regime was constructed. This process has yet to be finalized. Full Report in PDF

The Kurdish Center for Human Rights was established in Geneva in 2000, according to the Suisse civil law. In response to the genocide, war crimes and human rights violations occurring across the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria.

The KCHR, as a non-profit organization of social utility, was born from the need to  inform the European and Swiss people and the OHCHR on human rights violations against the Kurds via seminars and other dialogue platforms and to attend their meetings; to establish a dialogue with NGO’s, civil movements, associations, government and civil institutions..
