According to statistics compiled by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN), at least 14 Kurdish civilians and activists have been arrested in the cities of Dehgolan, Divandereh, Sanandaj, Oshnavieh, Piranshahr, Islamabad-Qarb and Ilam in the provinces of Kurdistan, West Azerbaijan, Kermanshah and Ilam in December.
Three of these people have been sent to the prison to serve their sentences, and the remaining 11 people have been detained by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Ministry of Intelligence agents. They were transferred to the detention centres of these two security agencies.
Five detainees have been released on bail this month, while the other people still remain in detention. Many of these people have not yet been able to contact their families.Moreover, at least 15 Kurdish civilians and activists were sentenced by the Revolutionary Courts of Sanandaj, Marivan, Orimiyeh and Tehran to a total of 84 years and 10 months in prison on political charges.
3 kolbars and tradsmen killed and 7 others wounded by the military forces
At least three Kurdish border porters–known as kolbar- and tradsmen called Siamak Karimi, Behzad Mohammadi and Farzad Saaduzadeh, were shot dead by the Iranian troops in the cities of Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi Province, Sistan and Baluchestan Province and Salmas of West Azerbaijan Province, Seven other Kolbars were also injured in December.
